What a year! Our lives have been disturbed beyond belief in 2020. We had to adjust, compromise and accept.
This is not an easy feat, especially when we have to constantly stay with the same people, the people that we love, but the people, we are at times stuck with.
In this vlog, I observe what we often do in a relationship, especially in conflict. We look at what we want instead of looking at what the other person naturally offers already. We nag and complain often to others instead of looking on how negative we can be about the other person.
My suggestion would be to; raise your self- awareness, try to prevent playing the blame game and appreciate the other one for their qualities instead of their so-called faults.
Here is a vlog I did to help you improve your communication with your loved ones, day in and day out. Although the example in my video refers to love relationship, you can apply self awareness and compassion to other relationships in your life.
I hope it helps to reflect and to see if you can start changing the relationship by starting with you! Let’s embrace 2021 with new ways of looking at our relationships.
